A CGI film taking the camera down to tooth level to show how Oral-B 3D White works. From Oral-B 3D White Brilliance
Show what the product does
A product film has to do two things in a short time. It has to show what the product is, and it has to show why it matters. Animation lets us go where a camera cannot, inside a toothpaste, behind a screen or into a game.
For Oral-B we took the camera down to tooth level to show the ingredients at work before closing on the pack. For Suncrest we turned a drinking straw into the words that describe the brand, in a 20 second advert full of hand drawn splashes of juice.
Software and games need a different approach. Deloitte's Spotlight audit tool became a hand drawn journey through fierce waters, so a piece of software felt human rather than technical. For Square Enix we framed real Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded gameplay with animated elements drawn from the game's own design.
We can work in 2D, 3D or a mix of both, and in any length from a short social clip to a full launch film.

Questions buyers ask
Should a product film be 2D or 3D?
It depends on the product. A physical product often suits 3D close ups, while software and services often suit 2D. We will suggest what works best, and we can mix the two.
Can you animate software or an app?
Yes. We have made films for software tools such as Deloitte's Spotlight and WanDisco, and a launch film for Lightfern.
Can you make game trailers?
Yes. We made a gameplay trailer for Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded and a title sequence for That's You!, a PlayStation 4 party game.
What do you need from us?
Product photos, packaging artwork, CAD files or screen recordings, whichever you have, plus the key message you want people to take away.
How many rounds of changes are included?
Review rounds are agreed at the start and built into the script, storyboard and animation stages.
Who owns the finished film?
Usage rights are agreed in writing before work begins, so you know exactly where and for how long the film can be used.
