Corporate films have a hard job. They need to explain a complicated business, respect the facts and still hold the attention of a room full of people who have seen it all before. Animation helps because it can turn a report, a history or a strategy into a story, with characters and pictures instead of slides.
We have made AGM films, conference openers, anniversary films, brand stories and internal films for large organisations. Our film for Shell brought the images from its corporate report to life. St James's Place opened its conference on the giant screen at the O2 with a film we designed and animated. Unilever needed eight minutes of animation in seven days, in three styles for three countries, and got it.
We are used to working with communications teams, agencies and approval chains. Films are planned and signed off in stages, facts are checked before anything is animated, and we deliver versions for events, websites and internal channels.
Corporate films we have made
AGM and anniversary films, conference openers and brand stories for global companies.
What you get
Every corporate film is different, so we agree the scope at the start. These are the things most of our corporate projects include.
-
A clear story
We turn your message, report or strategy into a short script that any audience can follow.
-
Your brand, done properly
Your colours, typefaces and guidelines followed throughout, with illustration built from your own brand style where you have one.
-
Films for the big screen
Openers and AGM films made for conference screens and LED walls, as well as for laptops and phones.
-
Versions for every audience
Language versions, subtitles and shorter cuts for internal channels, websites and social media.
-
Deadlines planned for
Event dates planned for from day one, as with Rio Tinto in 16 days and Unilever in seven.
-
Stills to match
Matching frames and illustrations for presentations and reports, so the film and the slides look like one piece.
How it works
-
Brief.
We learn the message, the audience, the occasion and the deadline.
-
Script.
We write a short script from your material, and your team checks the facts.
-
Storyboard and design.
Every shot is drawn out and the look is agreed within your brand.
-
Animate and review.
We animate the film and share it at key stages, with review rounds for your team and any senior sign off.
-
Deliver.
Final files for the event screen, the website and internal channels, with any language versions.
Questions buyers ask
What kinds of corporate video do you make?
AGM and results films, conference openers, anniversary and brand story films, internal communications and explainers for products and services. Most combine animation with motion graphics, and some also use live footage.
Can you work to our brand guidelines?
Yes. We work within your brand guidelines, and where you have an illustration style we can build the film from it, as we did for Arvato.
Can you meet an event deadline?
Yes. We plan the schedule back from the event date. Rio Tinto's AGM film was made in 16 days and Unilever's three conference films in seven.
Can you make versions for different countries?
Yes. We can supply language versions and subtitles. For Unilever we made a separate film in a different style for each of three countries, and our Air bp film was translated into eight languages.
How many rounds of changes are included?
Review rounds are agreed at the start and built into the script, storyboard and animation stages, which leaves room for your communications team and senior sign off.
Who owns the finished film?
Usage rights are agreed in writing before work begins, so you know exactly where and for how long the film can be used.
