A 20 second advert for Suncrest, with a 3D carton and hand drawn splashes. From Suncrest
Short, sharp and memorable
An advert has seconds to make someone stop and remember a name. Animation gives you total control over every one of those seconds, from the timing of a joke to the exact moment the product appears.
For Suncrest we built a 3D model of the carton and hand drew every splash of juice around it, with a straw bending into words that describe the brand. For Oral-B we took the camera down to tooth level to show the ingredients at work before closing on the pack. For BBC World we made a TV advert for the series Visionaries from a script and complete creative freedom, working backwards from the end slate.
We also animate promos and marketing films for launches, events and screens, from 20 digital posters for the BBC's Mipcom stand, each made in four hours, to a year in review film for Hyundai built on a chalkboard.
We plan every version from the start. A main advert for television or cinema can be cut down for social media and digital screens, and reframed upright or square, so the whole campaign looks like one piece. We are used to working alongside agencies and media teams, and deliver files to their specifications.

Questions buyers ask
How long should an animated advert be?
TV adverts are usually 20 to 30 seconds. Our Suncrest advert runs for 20 seconds, and our BBC World and Coptic Orphans adverts for 30. Social media versions are often shorter still.
Can you animate our product?
Yes. We can model it in 3D, as we did for Oral-B and the Suncrest carton, or draw it in a style that matches the rest of the film.
How many rounds of changes are included?
Review rounds are agreed at the start and built into the script, storyboard and animation stages. The exact number is set out in the quote, so there are no surprises.
How long does an animated advert take to make?
It depends on the length and the style. We plan the schedule back from your launch or air date, and agree dates for each review round at the start.
Can you work from our existing brand assets?
Yes. We can build from your logo, packaging, photography and campaign artwork. For the BBC's digital posters we brought each programme's existing poster artwork to life, recreating any elements that came to us flattened.
Who owns the finished advert?
Usage rights are agreed in writing before work begins, so you know exactly where and for how long the film can be used.
