The Brief

The animation is intended for the large number of staff who work for Merck in countries prevalent with mosquitoes. Dengue fever is a common occurrence caused from some mosquito bites and has resulted in a large amount of sick days from staff. There are three very basic things that can be done to help prevent being stung which everybody knows but generally ignore to some extent. The training video needed to be engaging enough to listen to a well known message again.

What Cumi Created

We came onboard early in the project so were able to co-create the concept and illustration style with Watering Can Media. This gave us the ability to create the animation plus some supporting illustrations with ease. Designing the main mosquito was the highlight, especially on the close-ups where we could add more details.
