Living & Powerful
Branding, product design and illustration for Living & Powerful, a London illustrated gifts brand built around a deck of daily Bible verse cards. Cumi created the brand identity and product design across the full range, including boxes, cards, journals and art prints, illustrating the 225-card verse deck and its five curated boxed sets, hand illustrating five gold foil stamped hardback journals, bringing the L&P mark to life in a short logo animation, and designing the brand's own website.

225 Illustrated Bible Verses
The Brief
Living & Powerful started in 2018, when its founders noticed the pressures mounting on their young children and began handwriting Bible verses on windows and notecards around the house for some daily encouragement. By January 2019, after two weeks of prayer and reflection, they decided to take the idea further and make it properly, a set of illustrated Bible verse cards. They cleared their diaries for the year, turned down paid work, and ran a month long Kickstarter that found 336 backers, enough to get the first cards into production. The brief that followed was to bring it to life, illustration, packaging and a brand.

We illustrated all 225 illustrated cards and managed every stage of the design process from packaging down to font. Print ready files were all created and we worked with manufacturers to delive the final products to shelf.
