STUDENT ALPHA
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. No pressure. No follow up. No charge.
It runs in churches, bars, coffee shops and homes all around the globe. Typically Alpha has around ten sessions and includes food, a short talk and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts.
Alpha really is for anyone who’s curious. The talks are designed to encourage debate and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, honest and informal environment.
Alpha in Canada set out to film a twelve episode series filmed in Vancouver, London, Paris and Jerusalem, the Youth Film Series explores timeless questions about faith, life and God for a new generation.
Jason Ballard the producer/presenter said;
“We wanted to create a tool that anyone could use to help spark a conversation about faith, even if they’re not an experienced public speaker. Also, video allowed us more space to be creative – to travel the world, to use interviews, animations and a variety of locations.”
We jumped at the chance to help create some of the animations that would go into the films. We tried to approach each one with a different style so we could explore new characters and design.
